Can I move cash from my Dealing account to other accounts I have with you?

If you have cleared cash in your Dealing account, you can move it to your Stocks and shares ISA or SIPP. To do this, just log into your Dealing account and find ‘Move cash between my accounts'. When moving cash or withdrawing from your Dealing account, you'll need to leave at least £100 in the account to keep it open.

To be able to move it, the cash in your Dealing account needs to have ‘cleared’. This means that it’s ready for you to withdraw or invest. Cash you’ve paid into your Dealing account can take up to five days to clear. Meanwhile, cash from selling an investment typically clears one day after the settlement date on your contract note.

Before moving your cash, it’s important to check that it won’t take you over your remaining ISA or SIPP allowance. Learn more about cleared cash.
