Jim Sutcliffe

Jim Sutcliffe has spent more than 30 years in the insurance and asset management industry, as Chairman of Sun Life Financial, and previously as Group CEO of Old Mutual plc. Prior to this, Mr Sutcliffe was Deputy Chairman of Liberty International plc, and has also held a number of senior posts with Prudential plc, including CEO of Prudential UK. Mr Sutcliffe is also currently a Non-executive Director of Lonmin plc and Liberty Holdings, as well as Chairman of the Codes and Standards Committee of the Financial Reporting Council. He has a degree from the University of Cape Town and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
