Nicholas Littlefair spent a year at a firm of stockbrokers in London and then five years in the actuarial department at an insurance company in Johannesburg. He then worked for a couple of major UK insurance companies in their actuarial and pensions departments by which time he had completed his ACII diploma. He then progressed to technical roles with two SSAS practitioners before joining Andy to set up A J Bell.
