Customer Account Specialist

The Customer Account Specialist will work within a team focusing on proactive outreach to existing/prospective affluent customers in a bid to drive new business growth for the AJ Bell Youinvest product. The key focus is on consolidation of accounts, customer referrals and retention. The role is sales-based and so building positive relationships with these affluent customers is imperative. Initially, the role will involve building product knowledge and completing administrative work to support the existing team and their respective leads.

You will:

  • Build positive relationships with affluent customers.
  • Make a high number contacts to existing and prospective affluent customers in a bid to increase account consolidation and referrals.
  • Soft Selling – The customer is at the centre of everything we do so when positioning solutions, make sure it is suitable for the investment needs.
  • Work alongside a team of six hungry individuals to identify new affluent opportunities and achieve the team AUA target.
  • Manage leads effectively through using/maintaining your own CRM Tracker.
  • Follow up on unfunded account cases each month to ensure conversions to funded accounts are maximised
  • Create tailored client solutions from a range of options to meet individual needs
  • Attend and support AJ Bell Youinvest at marketing events to engage with existing and prospective customers and promote the AJ Bell Youinvest brand.

  • Attend and support AJ Bell Youinvest and general market events to engage with existing and potential customers and promote the AJ Bell Youinvest brand.
  • Promote new product features and update customers on product developments.
  • Co-operate with all other teams across the business to enable efficient operating processes and a positive customer experience.
  • Any other duties as requested by your line manager
