What are the minimum and maximum amounts I can invest in an ISA?

To open our Stocks and shares ISA or Lifetime ISA, you need to invest a lump sum of £250 or more. You can also invest at least £25 monthly with our regular investment service with absolutely no AJ Bell dealing charge. To get started, just log into your account and click 'Regular investments'.
Your maximum ISA allowances per year for the 2026/27 tax year are:
- £20,000 overall for all types of ISAs
- £4,000 for a Lifetime ISA (this usually counts towards your overall £20,000 allowance)
