Manchester-based investment platform, AJ Bell, have been announced as title sponsor of the AJ Bell 2022 World Triathlon Championship Series Leeds, a partnership that dates back to 2018.

The extended partnership will see one of the UK’s largest investment platforms continue its relationship with British Triathlon and the event over two days of sporting action on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June 2022, all of which will take place in and around Leeds’ renowned Roundhay Park.

As it’s part of the prestigious World Triathlon Championship Series, the Leeds event attracts the very best international athletes in the sport. Thousands of fans are expected to descend on the city to cheer on Britain’s best as they take on the rest of the world on home soil.

But the triathlon action doesn’t stop at the elite racing as the AJ Bell 2022 World Triathlon Championship Series Leeds invites thousands of amateur athletes, of all ages and backgrounds, to take on a variety of distances and events over the course of the weekend. The event also provides a platform for the next generation of triathlon talent to compete on the biggest stage, with races for those as young as 11.

Entries are open for AJ Bell 2022 World Triathlon Championship Series Leeds here, with all participants getting the same blue carpet finish-line experience. Spectators are invited to come along and soak up the sporting action in Roundhay Park, with opportunities to volunteer at the event also now open for registration for anyone wanting to get involved.
