EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Oxford Metrics and Kavango Resources hire new CEOs

The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Monday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Oxford Metrics PLC - Oxford, England-based sensing and measurement technology - Hires Stefan Lampa to be chief executive officer, starting in December. Lampa will replace Imogen O'Connor, who is leaving immediately for "health reasons". Filling the gap will be Non-Executive Chair Gary Bullard, who will step in as interim CEO. Oxford Metrics says Lampa has experience across robotics, automation and industrial technology. Most recently, he was CEO of Munich, Germany-based ProGlove, a provider of wearable barcode scanners for warehouse and industrial applications.

Kavango Resources PLC - London-based, South Africa-focused metals explorer and gold producer - Hires Jasper Musadaidzwa as CEO, starting on Monday. Musadaidzwa is a Zimbabwean national with 27 years experience in the mining industry, Kavango says, including 17 years with Johannesburg-listed AngloGold Ashanti PLC, where most recently he led the miner's Guinea business. With Musadaidzwa's arrival at Kavango, Donald McAlister moves from non-executive chair and interim CEO to executive chair.

Ultimate Products PLC - Oldham, England-based owner of branded homeware products such as Salter and Beldray - Simon Harrison joins as CEO-designate on Saturday and will become CEO on October 26. Harrison was CEO of Liverpool-based food and beverage maker Princes Group PLC, and his appointment by Ultimate Products was announced back in May. Harrison replaces Andrew Gossage, who will rejoin the Ultimate Products as a non-executive director in May next year after a sabbatical.

United Oil & Gas PLC - oil and gas explorer in Jamaica - Promotes Donal Meehan to chief operating officer, a non-board position, from head of commercial, effective from Monday. Meehan has 20 years of upstream oil and gas experience, United Oil notes, starting his career at Exxon Mobil Corp and later working at Providence Resources PLC. CEO Brian Larkin says Meehan's appointment "comes at an important time for the company as we push to conclude the Jamaican farmout".

Blackbird PLC - London-based video technology - Hires Adrian Wilding to be a non-board interim chief financial officer. Wilding, who Blackbird notes is an experienced CFO and former CEO, joins the company after Steve White left his role as chief operating & financial officer at the end of last month.

Hill & Smith PLC - Solihull, England-based infrastructure products provider - Hires Sue Clark to be senior independent director. Clark already is senior director of easyJet PLC, Mondi PLC and Imperial Brands PLC, though easyJet is in the process of being bought by private equity. Clark joins the board on October 2 and will replace Tony Quinlan as senior director on January 1. Quinlan will remain on the board as a non-executive director.

Boku Inc - London-based payments technology - Hires Sandra Alzetta to be an independent non-executive director, starting on Monday. Alzetta most recently was global head of payments and customer service at Stockholm-based music streaming service Spotify AB.
