What is your role at AJ Bell?

My role is HR Manager, primarily supporting our head office teams in Salford. My team and I look after the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding where we welcome new starters into the business right through to ensuring a smooth process for those who leave us, plus all the exciting things in between such as promotions and family leave arrangements.

What originally attracted you to AJ Bell?

I’ve been with AJ Bell for nearly two years now, but my application process is still relatively fresh in my mind! The role described on the advert attracted me straight away; my interest was further strengthened by all the great events and initiatives posted on their LinkedIn page from volunteering days to the summer party – it demonstrated to me the great culture at AJ Bell. (Being here now I can say it is as good as it looks!)

What’s your favourite part of the job?

Working with great people. The HR Team is a friendly, supportive team and we manage to work hard and have fun at the same time.

What’s your favourite event in the AJ Bell calendar and why?

I do look forward to the Christmas party, it’s great getting dressed up and spending time with the team and having a laugh.
