Team Administrator

We're now looking to recruit a Team Administrator to assist the Platinum SSAS team in servicing the AJ Bell Platinum SSAS accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their administrative skills further in a back office role. 

The successful applicant will be able to successfully operate in a team as well as being able to work independently, they will be capable of handling a high quantity of varied work in a constructive and timely manner. 

A large part of the role will involve reconciling transactions that have occurred within SSAS bank accounts over the accounting period and prepare Year End account statements for the underlying clients.

The role also involves:

  • Sorting daily post.
  • Delivering daily signing.
  • Assisting with client queries.
  • Co-ordinating the request annual valuations and ensuring saved to correct client folder on receipt.
  • Assisting with annual accounts work.
  • Forwarding on general correspondence to clients/advisers.
  • Arrange signing of scheme cheques, AJB fee cheques & trustee resolutions .
  • Change of address updates and confirmations.
  • Completion of investment application paperwork.
  • Assisting with the completion of pensions regulator returns and RPSR’s.
  • Managing workloads to ensure that administration is done in line with group procedures and within Service Level Agreements.

Competence, Knowledge and Skills:

  • You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's grades 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent including Maths and English.
  • Previous experience in an office environment would be advantageous.
  • Positive can do attitude   
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Numerate and literate.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills, including the use of programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines.
