IN BRIEF: Chesnara gets UK approval for HSBC Life UK takeover

Chesnara PLC - Preston, England-based life and pensions consolidator - Says it has secured UK regulatory approval for its proposed GBP260 million acquisition of HSBC Life (UK) Ltd. The deal was first announced in July and is now expected to complete at the end of January 2026. The company says work will progress toward closing the transaction following the approval.
