IN BRIEF: Aviation buys five ATR 72s, doesn't expect hit from Iran war

Avation PLC - Singapore-based aircraft leasing company - Says it doesn’t expect any direct financial impact from the conflict in the Middle East due to the geographical distributions of its customers. It also reports that it has entered into a letter of intent with a European airline for the lease of two ATR 72-600 which came back into Aviation’s possession following the reconstruction of Braathens Regional Airways AB, a virtual airline based in Sweden. Five further ATR 72-600 will be delivered to the company between 2028 and 2029 as it has converted five of its 24 purchase rights into firm orders, bringing the undelivered ATR 72-600 order book to 14 planes. The purchases are expected to be fully funded by organic cash flows.
