How do I set a price alert?
With price alerts, we’ll notify you when a chosen investment hits your target price – whether that’s to buy or to sell.
Setting up a price alert is simple. Once logged in, select ‘My price alerts’ on the account overview screen.
Here, you’ll see any active or triggered alerts.
To add a new alert, select ‘Add alert’ and type in the name of the investment you want to be alerted for – you can only track listings on the London Stock Exchange.
Choose whether the alert is to buy or sell, or if you’re just tracking its movement, ‘Last trade price’. And then tell us what price we should alert you at.
When your investment has hit its target price, we’ll email you to let you know.
You can also set a price alert from an eligible LSE stock page, by selecting ‘Set up price alert’ and following the same steps.
It’s worth remembering that you can have up to 10 live alerts set at any one time.
