Investment trust select list
Our expert-chosen list of investment trusts from
across the market, considerate of price, potential,
management, and size.
Carefully chosen by our experts
Investment trusts offer great potential but can be tricky to understand. Knowing how to invest in investment trusts is important to anyone considering them as a place to put their money.
With over 300 trusts available, there are a lot of options to choose from. That’s why our experts have created a select list – carefully choosing trusts to help with your research.
- Balancing value and potential
We look at the charges associated with each trust, how this pairs with its performance, the size of the trust, and how investment decisions are made. - Performance and management
We consider the experience of the investment manager, their investment philosophy, approach to risk management, and how they plan to outperform the market. - Regularly monitored and updated
As stock markets fluctuate daily, our team of experts monitor whether trusts are trading at a discount or premium to their net asset value (NAV) and will review their place on the list if needed.
Our Select list is a short list of investment trusts carefully chosen by our experts but are not personal recommendations. Please make sure you read any factsheets or reports attached to a trust before investing. Investment trusts are structured differently to other funds, so please research them carefully before investing.
Investment trust select list
Important information: Investment trusts can trade at a premium or a discount to their net asset value (NAV). As stock market prices fluctuate day to day, and we’re taking a more long-term view, we’ll not make regular changes to the list based on the premium or discount. However, if a trust is consistently trading at a large discount or premium, we will review the trust’s place on this list.
How we manage our Investment trust select list
Our Investment trust select list has been carefully built, taking into consideration price, performance, size, and other criteria. The select list isn’t a personal recommendation and should only be used as a tool for research.
We regularly review our Investment trust select list to keep it up to date. This means adding and removing funds when we need to. Please keep in mind this list of changes is informational only, and not a personal recommendation to buy or sell these investment trusts.
