Investment objective
The objective of the Fund is to achieve a total investment return (comprising of a balance of capital growth and income) over the long term (at least 5 years). The Fund is a multi-asset fund, meaning that it will have exposure to a range of different asset classes. At any one time, the Fund will be invested in any combination of the following: equities, preference shares (including zero-dividend preference shares), cash, investment trusts, real estate investment trusts and fixed interest securities including corporate, government and convertible bonds. The Fund may also hold near cash instruments, money market instruments, warrants, exchange traded funds and other collective investment schemes. The allocation between the assets in which the Fund invests will be actively managed, with the allocation to shares dependant on market conditions but always remaining within a 20%-80% range.
