Investment objective

The aim of the Fund is to provide, over periods of five consecutive years beginning at the point of investment, a return on investors investment through an actively managed portfolio, whilst also maintaining a risk profile of 12% or more as measured by volatility of the Fund’s returns, converted into an annual rate, over a five-year period. In seeking to achieve its investment objective, the Fund will seek to invest indirectly (i.e. through other investments) in a variety of asset classes globally, including equity securities, equity-related securities (i.e. other investments whose value is related to equities), fixed income securities (such as corporate bonds and government bonds), fixed income-related securities (i.e. other investments whose value is related to debt), and, directly or indirectly, in cash and assets that can be turned into cash quickly.
