Since its founding in 1946, Estee Lauder has become a leading global manufacturer and marketer of prestige skincare (nearly half of sales), makeup (28%), fragrance (19%), and haircare products (4%). Beyond its namesake brand, the firm's portfolio of offerings includes Clinique, M.A.C., La Mer, Jo Malone London, and Tom Ford, among others. The US and China each account for about one-quarter of its consolidated sales. The firm sells its products through physical and e-commerceplatforms at company-owned outlets alongside department stores, specialty retailers, and salons globally.
