| Biography | Rob joined Laurium Capital in December 2020 and is the Global Equity Portfolio Manager. Prior to this, he was a co-founding member and CIO of Tantalum Capital where he managed the equity and multi-asset portfolios under long only and hedge fund mandates. Rob was at Coronation Fund Managers (CFM) from 1997 to 2005 as Co-Portfolio Manager and, later, promoted to Portfolio Manager of the Coronation Consumer Growth Fund. He spent 18 months at CFM’s Dublin and London offices, analysing European equities and managing the Coronation European Growth Fund. After returning to the CFM Cape Town office in 2001, he was appointed as Head of Research, managing Coronation’s segregated institutional balanced portfolios and was the Direct Portfolio Manager for institutional equity mandates. Rob began his career in 1994 at Allan Gray as a Quantitative and Fundamental Equity Analyst. Rob is a CA(SA) and CFA charterholder. |
