BiographyCaspar graduated in English Literature from Brasenose College, Oxford, before joining Merrill Lynch in 1992 as an investment analyst. He then transferred into institutional equity sales in 1996 with roles at Cazenove, HSBC and latterly Numis Securities. He moved to the buy side in 2005 with First State Investments where he was the portfolio manager of the British Opportunities Fund. In 2007 he joined Standard Life Investments as Investment Director, UK Smaller Companies.
