Abingdon pregnancy self-tests now available under the Boots brand

Abingdon Health PLC on Wednesday said its saliva pregnancy self test is now available across the UK and online.

The tests, which have been developed in partnership Salignostics and Crest Medical Ltd, will be sold as a Boots UK Ltd own brand product.

By 2033 the UK pregnancy self-test market is expected to reach $56.7 million.

Chief Executive Officer Chris Yates commented: ‘This launch showcases our ability to deliver innovative and disruptive private label products through our...lateral flow full-service proposition with one of the most trusted UK brands - Boots.’

Abingdon shares were up 10% to 10.72 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
