Bravura Solutions shares rise as dividend and buyback announced

Bravura Solutions Ltd on Wednesday announced a substantial dividend and a share buyback, alongside the release of its 2026 results.

Shares in the Sydney-based provider of enterprise software for the wealth management and funds industries closed 13% higher at AUD3.14 per share on Wednesday in Sydney.

Bravura said pretax profit declined 19% in the financial year ended June 30 to AUD74.9 million from AUD92.9 million a year earlier.

Revenue rose 9.6% to AUD282.6 million from AUD258.7 million a year earlier. Underlying revenue from customers also rose 9.6% to AUD282.6 million, despite foreign exchange headwinds in the second half. Recurring revenue increased 6.9% to AUD165.0 million from AUD154.3 million.

Bravura's employee benefits expense fell 2.5% to AUD118.9 million in 2026 from AUD122.0 million a year earlier. Underlying cash earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose to AUD77.1 million from AUD43.8 million, while the underlying margin increased to 27.3% from 17.0%.

The company declared a final ordinary dividend of 8.31 Australian cents per share and a special dividend of 6.69 Australian cents, taking total dividends declared for the financial year to 25.23 Australian cents per share.

The final and special dividends have a record date of August 25 and an ex-dividend date of August 24. They will be paid on September 3.

Bravura also announced an on-market share buyback of up to AUD50 million over 12 months from August 31.

Looking ahead, Bravura guided for financial 2027 revenue of AUD280 million to AUD300 million and underlying cash Ebitda of AUD84 million to AUD94 million.
