IN BRIEF: 3i Infrastructure completes EUR260 million Norway investment

3i Infrastructure PLC - Jersey-registered closed-ended investment company focused on infrastructure, managed by 3i Investments PLC, part of 3i Group PLC - Completes its EUR263 million investment in Lefdal Mine Datacenter, a data centre campus located in Maloy on the west coast of Norway. A majority stake is purchased from a fund managed by Columbia Threadneedle Investments. This deal was first announced back in March. A further stake in the Norwegian data centre is purchased from a minority investor at a similar price. As a result, 3i now manages 90% of the equity of Lefdal Mine Datacenter, with 45% held by 3i Infrastructure and 45% by third-party co-investors managed by 3i. The remaining 10% is retained by an existing investor. A further EUR19 million in funding for the data centre is committed by 3i Infrastructure, alongside the same amount from the third-party co-investors.
