AG Barr PLC - Cumbernauld, Scotland-based soft drinks maker - Enters exclusive discussions with an unnamed third party for the possible sale of its Strathmore spring water business. AG Barr with its annual results back in March had said it planned to discontinue the Strathmore brand, which could lead to the closure of its plant in Forfar, Scotland. On Wednesday, AG Barr says the talks with the potential buyer are at an early stage, and there is no certainty a deal will be concluded.
