IN BRIEF: Aseana Properties swings to profit but NAV falls back

Aseana Properties Ltd - Jersey-based property development company focused on Vietnam and Malaysia Swings to pretax profit of $13.6 million in 2025 from $5.5 million loss the year prior, as revenue shoots up to $14.4 million from $2.9 million. Bottom line also benefits from foreign exchange gain of $13.3 million compared to $3.1 million in 2024. Net asset value per share as December 31 was $0.19 down from $0.24 the year before. Focus in 2025 was on preserving cash balances, safeguarding ownership of remaining assets, and raising funds and bank refinancing. Asset sales remains a strategic option, but in a ‘measured manner so as not to compromise shareholder value.’ No dividend was declared or paid in the financial years 2025 and 2024.
