IN BRIEF: Atome resumes trading, notes Villeta "turbulence" in results

Atome PLC - Leeds, England-based fertiliser developer - Resumes trading on Monday after publishing its delayed results for financial 2025 and for the first six months of 2026. In 2025, pretax loss was £8.2 million, widened from £7.1 million a year earlier. In the first half of 2026, pretax loss widened to £11.2 million, from £2.5 million a year earlier. Cash balance multiplied to USD8.0 million at June 30, from USD361,000 a year earlier. The company says it is "travelling through turbulence with regard to the Villeta Project," in Paraguay, but says it remains optimistic it will be able to navigate through the issues as the company is "not a one trick pony". Atome says it served a notice of dispute & intent to submit a claim to arbitration on the Republic of Paraguay.
