IN BRIEF: Avation inks lease agreement with South Korea's SUM Air

Avation PLC - Singapore-based commercial aircraft leasing company - Signs lease agreement with South Korean airline SUM Air for a new ATR 72-600 aircraft. Says the aircraft is one of 10 ATR 72-600 aircraft ordered by Avation last year as part of the exercise of purchase rights under its purchase contract with ATR, the aircraft manufacturer. Adds that the aircraft is set to be delivered in November this year.

‘We are pleased to confirm the addition of SUM Air to our customer list and congratulate them on their decision to select the ATR 72-600 to expand regional air travel throughout the Republic of Korea, connecting cities and islands in the region,’ says Executive Chair Jeff Chatfield.
