IN BRIEF: Avon Technologies celebrates USD20 million Team Wendy order

Avon Technologies PLC - Wiltshire, England-based military and law enforcement protection equipment manufacturer - Team Wendy Ceradyne receives a further delivery order, worth USD20.3 million, from the US Defense Logistics Agency under the Advanced Combat Helmet or 'ACH GEN II' framework contract announced in 2022. Avon's Team Wendy business unit specialises in high-performance ballistic and impact-protection helmet systems. Avon says the latest order fulfils the maximum volume authorised for the current option year.

"This additional delivery order is another strong endorsement of Team Wendy's performance and reliability," comments Avon Chief Executive Officer Jos Sclater. "Bringing the current option year to its maximum ordering volume demonstrates the confidence DLA has in our ability to manufacture and deliver ACH Gen II helmets to schedule.

"We remain focused on supporting the warfighter and delivering for our customer. This award helps cement our continued, long-term relationship with the customer on ACH in the coming years and reflects the progress Team Wendy has made in operational performance, execution and reliability."
