IN BRIEF: Avon Technologies gets chemical warfare order from MidEast

Avon Technologies PLC - Wiltshire, England-based military and law enforcement protective equipment maker - Avon Protection business wins new order for filters from a ‘Middle Eastern customer’ that it doesn’t name. The order is worth $12.7 million, Avon says, and is for its ’MILCF50’ filters, used in respirators that protect against chemical and biological warfare agents in aerosol, liquid, vapour and particulate form. Avon says the order underpins its expectations for financial 2026 that it set out with its annual results in November. That guidance was for high-single-digit percentage revenue growth and operating margins reaching the company’s target range of 14% to 16%. Avon’s financial year ends on September 30.

‘We continue to see strong global demand for our [chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear] protection products, and this order further reinforces our confidence in our ability to deliver on our commitments throughout FY2026,’ says Chief Executive Officer Jos Sclater.
