IN BRIEF: Avon Technologies win USD11 million order from Nato member

Avon Technologies PLC - Wiltshire, England-based military protection equipment maker - Its Avon Protection respirator unit secures a USD10.8 million order from an "existing European Nato member" that it doesn't name, under the Nato Support & Procurement Agency framework contract. The order covers FM50 air-purifying respirators, FM61EU filters, and accessories to support the country's military modernisation programme. Avon says the order further underpins its expectations for financial 2027.

"This new order highlights Avon Protection's long-standing position as a trusted supplier to Nato...Avon Protection supplies respiratory systems to 16 NATO nations under the NSPA framework, reflecting the increasing focus on modernising [chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear protection] capability across the alliance. The NSPA framework provides a strong platform for repeatable demand as customers upgrade and standardise their equipment."

Late last month, Avon's Team Wendy helmet division received orders worth USD40 million from the US Army and Defense Logistics Agency under an existing contract.
