IN BRIEF: Brave Bison acquires Engage; trading in line for full-year

Brave Bison Group PLC - London-based digital advertising and technology service provider - says it has agreed to acquire global sports and marketing company Engage Digital Partners Ltd for up to £10.6 million consideration. Deal comprises an initial £2.1 million enterprise value and £2.0 million equity consideration, as well as £6.5 million contingent consideration over three years subject to performance conditions. Executive Chair Oliver Green says: ‘Engage boast an enviable client roster...and deep expertise in sports media and digital content strategy. This combination comes at a time when rights holders and sports federations are looking to maximise their IP, boost fan engagement and really drive commercial performance using a more data driven approach.’

Brave Bison says second-half trading is in line with expectations, and it expects to meet current market forecasts for the full-year of approximately £3.6 million of adjusted earnings before interest and tax.

Current stock price: closed down 3.5% at 2.10p on Monday in London.
