Bunzl PLC - London-based distribution and outsourcing - Bunzl buys Wessex Cleaning Equipment & Janitorial Supplies Ltd, a distributor of cleaning and hygiene products, janitorial supplies and cleaning equipment. Bunzl doesn't provide the acquisition price. It says Wessex Cleaning generated revenue of £11 million in the financial year that ended March 31, 2026. The acquisition of Southampton, Hampshire-based Wessex Cleaning will strengthen Bunzl's position in the UK cleaning and hygiene market, expand its geographical coverage, and enhance its offering in equipment sales and hire, it says.
