IN BRIEF: CAB Payments names former Metro Bank finance chief as CFO

CAB Payments Holdings PLC - London-based payment processing and foreign exchange provider - Names James Hopkinson as its new chief financial officer, effective immediately. He was most recently CFO and executive director of retail bank Metro Bank Holdings PLC. Hopkins spent almost 20 years at Standard Chartered PLC, most recently as global CFO of retail banking and was also previously CFO of ClearBank Ltd. Hopkinson replaces Richard Hallett, who stepped down last month.

Chief Executive Officer Neeraj Kapur said: ‘James brings significant experience to our group, with deep knowledge of the markets we serve. His appointment completes the realignment of our senior leadership team. I am excited to partner with him as he adds another level of rigour, strength and knowledge that is needed to deliver our transformation strategy.’
