IN BRIEF: CMA seeks comment on Air Liquide's home oxygen sale

Air Liquide SA - Paris-based industrial gases company - Says UK Competition and Markets Authority has begun seeking comments on the expected acquisition of Air Liquide's home oxygen services by Dolby Medical Home Respiratory Care Ltd. The CMA is issuing an invitation to comment in order to "allow interested parties to submit to the CMA any initial views on the impact that the transaction could have on competition in the UK." Company notes that the CMA has yet to begin its formal investigation into the proposed transaction. Dolby Medical Home Respiratory Care Ltd, or Vivisol, is a Stirling, Scotland-based healthcare services provider specialising in respiratory care. The company holds four regional home oxygen therapy contracts with the NHS, serving 20,000 patients.
