IN BRIEF: East Star progresses Kazakhstan gold exploration JV

East Star Resources PLC - Kazakhstan-focused gold and copper explorer - Says its gold exploration joint venture with Endeavour Exploration Ltd, a subsidiary of Endeavour Mining PLC, is moving into systematic exploration. Endeavour can earn a 51% interest by funding USD5 million of qualifying exploration expenditure during a two-year Stage 1 period.

East Star says the partners have completed reconnaissance across 15 priority targets, submitted exploration licence applications covering more than 930 square kilometres and established an in-country team of two senior and four junior geologists.
