IN BRIEF: EDX Medical announces "significant" deal with Arnold Clark

EDX Medical Group PLC - Cambridge, England-based developer of digital diagnostic products and services - Enters an initial three-year agreement with the Arnold Clark Group, to provide its health and wellbeing screening programme to the European automotive dealership's employees. Says it expects the deal to generate between £1.4 and £1.6 million in annual revenue. Arnold Clark has 11,600 workers across 200 UK locations, and EDX says it has estimated a high level of participation in the programme from eligible employees. The service includes deploying its proprietary biomarker testing panels, as well as "extensive general health checks." EDX says it is currently in talks about providing similar services to "other major UK employers".

"We are delighted to enter into this agreement...It is a very significant endorsement of our science, technologies and logistical capability as an expert medical diagnostics company," comments EDX Founder Chris Evans, adding: "We have designed a unique range of biomarker combinations to offer what we regard as the most advanced and comprehensive service in terms of diagnostic power and price-competitiveness. Employee health screening is growing in popularity."
