IN BRIEF: Galliford Try secures GBP1.6 billion Oxford University deal

Galliford Try Holdings PLC - London-based building and infrastructure construction company - Says it has been appointed to provide construction services for the University of Oxford. The contract, under the Oxford Inspire framework, is worth up to £1.6 billion over eight years and covers projects valued at over £15 million, including large-scale, new-build and refurbishment schemes.

Chief Executive Bill Hocking says: "Our business has a strong track record in delivering high-quality facilities to all parts of the education sector. We are delighted to be appointed to the Oxford Inspire framework and we look forward to delivering for staff and students across the University's estate."
