IN BRIEF: Image Scan shares rise as subsidiary receives two new orders

Image Scan Holdings PLC - Leicestershire, England-based provider of X-ray screening systems - Announces that its subsidiary 3DX-RAY Ltd has received two new orders for its MDXi-400 X-ray inspection systems from an "established" customer in the automotive manufacturing sector. Image Scan says the systems will be installed in South Korea and Brazil and will support quality assurance and inspection processes for catalytic converter production. Image Scan says: "These orders underline continuing demand for advanced industrial X-ray inspection technology in an automotive supply chain that remains active despite the broader transition towards vehicle electrification."

Image Scan Chief Executive Officer Vincent Deery says: "These latest orders demonstrate that demand for advanced X-ray inspection solutions in catalytic converter production continues. Despite wider discussion about the future of internal combustion engines, manufacturers continue to invest in quality assurance technologies that support efficient production and consistent product standards. We are delighted that an existing customer has once again selected the MDXi-400 platform."

Current stock price: 2.90 pence each, up 12% on Tuesday afternoon in London
