IN BRIEF: International Public Partnerships sells UK school projects

International Public Partnerships Ltd - London-based infrastructure investor - Agrees to sell its stakes in nine private-public partnership projects comprising 15 schools across four boroughs of London. INPP sells the projects to a pension fund managed by InfraRed Capital Partners Ltd. InfraRed says the deal was done for a separately managed account with pension services provider APG Netherlands, on behalf of pension fund ABP, which is for employees in the government and education sectors in the Netherlands.

INPP says it expects to receive gross proceeds in excess of £58 million, which would be a premium to net asset value. INPP notes that it now has realised more than £440 million in assets over the past three years, 17% of its portfolio, all in line with or at a premium to NAV. "The proceeds, coupled with internal cash flows, are being reinvested in highly attractive assets and therefore accretive to overall returns," says Chair Sarah Whitney.
