IN BRIEF: Jubilee Metals secures high-grade copper feed in Zambia

Jubilee Metals Group PLC - London-based metal processing company - Secures additional high-grade copper feed material for its Roan copper concentrator plant in Zambia for $1.8 million. Says it will settle the payment of $1.8 million through the issue of 29.8 million new shares at 4.48 pence each. ‘The large waste rock project continues to progress towards the conclusion of a joint venture, with two potential partners shortlisted for the project to upgrade the copper stockpile and refine the recovered material into copper,’ Jubilee Chief Executive Officer Leon Coetzer says.

At the large waste project, sellers have elected to receive the next stage payment of $2.6 million in Jubilee shares, Jubilee says. The payment leaves a remaining balance of the acquisition of about $5.4 million. In April last year, the company secured the exclusive rights to the large waste project for $18 million, reduced from $30 million.
