IN BRIEF: Kore Potash still engage with two parties over sale process

Kore Potash PLC – London-based owner of the Kola and DX potash projects in Republic of Congo – Says it continues to engage with two parties over the sale of the company. Late last month, a new party showed interest in acquiring Kore by participating in the formal sale process. In November last year, Kore said two suitors had made approaches to take over the group, before one of them pulled out in March. Says it was focussed on advancing the formal sale process during the second quarter that ended June 30.

While the sale process continues, Kore says it is also engaged with OWI-RAMS GMBH over the funding of its Kola project. Kore and OWI-RAMS signed an agreement in June last year that would see OWI-RAMS fund Kola. Says the appointment of a "suitable" contract operator and the selection of a strategic partner in potash mining and processing remain its key priorities.

As at June 30, Kore held USD7.5 million in cash. Kore says the remainder of 2026 promises to be a "highly significant" one for the company as it looks forward to further progressing Kola.
