IN BRIEF: Liontrust Asset Management assets get River Global buy boost
Liontrust Asset Management PLC - London-based active asset management - Assets under management and advice rise 24% to £24.26 billion as of June 30 from £19.55 billion on March 31, despite net outflows during the quarter. Liontrust completed its acquisition of River Global Holdings Ltd on June 30, adding £2.98 billion to AuMA, while a positive market and investment performance adds a further £2.08 billion. This more than offsets £357 million in net outflows in the recent three months, Liontrust's financial first quarter. The outflows are improved from £1.1 billion in 2026. They result primarily from £822 million net outflows from UK retail funds, while institutional accounts show £447 million in net inflows. Since the end of the first quarter, AuMA slips to £24.0 billion. Liontrust will provide a trading update for the second quarter ending September 30 on October 21.
