Mattioli Woods PLC - Leicester, England-based specialist wealth and asset management business - Gets closer to takeover by London-based alternative investment management company Pollen Street Capital Ltd, which valued Mattioli at £432 million in March. Mattioli says there is no further action proposed in relation to the takeover under the UK National Security & Investment Act, which allows the government to scrutinise and intervene in some acquisitions that could harm the UK’s national security. The takeover is still subject to court sanctioning expected on August 30. Mattioli anticipates the takeover to complete on September 3.
