Plus500 Ltd - Haifa, Israel-based trading platform operator - Enters into a strategic partnership with Toronto-based Wealthsimple, which it says is Canada's leading financial innovator with more than 4 million Canadians holding CAD150 billion, about USD106.44 billion, in assets under administration. "The group's institutional-grade infrastructure will power US futures access for Canadian retail investors, as its business-to-business partner ecosystem accelerates," Plus500 says.

Plus500 adds that it will provide "institutional-grade" clearing, order routing and risk management infrastructure. Further, Wealthsimple's Canadian retail investor base will gain "first-ever" direct access to US futures contracts, delivered through Plus500's proprietary futures trading platform, it continues.

Current stock price: 4,093.78 pence each, up 1.8% on Wednesday afternoon in London
