IN BRIEF: Sirius Real Estate seals business park buy near Frankfurt

Sirius Real Estate Ltd - London and Johannesburg-listed property investor - Completes the acquisition of a light-industrial business park in Fulda, near Frankfurt in Germany, for EUR49.8 million. The business park provides an EPRA net initial yield of 7.8%. This asset is anchored by a European manufacturer of ballistic protection equipment and protective systems, serving military, police and law enforcement customers, Sirius says. It has 57,771 square metres of lettable space and is fully let with an annual rent roll of EUR3.9 million.

"Completing the acquisition of this high-quality business park in Fulda, further strengthens our German portfolio," Sirius Chief Executive Officer Andrew Coombs says, adding: "Considering the income quality, the acquisition yield offers a very attractive risk/return relationship and supports the prospect of continued dividend progression."
