IN BRIEF: Tapir Holdings 2025 profit and income falls sharply

Tapir Holdings Ltd - strategic investment holding company listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange - On Thursday reports 2025 net income fell 87% to $15.5 million from $116.3 million a year earlier as total income dropped to $3,478 from $118.2 million. Says the decline reflected the absence of the one-off gains recorded in 2024 following its acquisition of a 10% stake in pan-African urban developer Rendeavour Holding Ltd, which it accounts for using the equity method. Share of associated income was $16.4 million, compared with a $1.7 million loss a year earlier. Cash at December 31 rose to $660,000 from $550,000. Total assets increased to $261.3 million from $212.0 million. Says its current sole investment remains its 10.0% stake in Rendeavour but intends to pursue additional investment opportunities across Africa in line with its investing policy.
