Vietnam Enterprise Investments Ltd - invests in listed equities in Vietnam - Files 2025 annual report and calls annual general meeting for June 25. Notes that net asset value per share on December 31 of $12.11 and £9.14 represents at 25% NAV total return in US dollar terms and 16% in sterling terms last year. This is short of the 39% rise of the Vietnam index in dollar terms and 29% in sterling terms. The investment trust’s share price total return, however, is a closer 36% in dollar terms and 30% in sterling terms, as the discount to NAV narrows.

‘The year started with considerable apprehension among investors about the impact of US tariffs, but the Vietnam market rallied strongly from its lows in April 2025, supported by strong economic growth and business-friendly government policies,’ comments Interim Chair Charles Cade, who took the chair in January after Sarah Arkle stepped down immediately from the board.
