IN BRIEF: Wynnstay Properties promotes Hugh Ford to next chair

Wynnstay Properties PLC - property investment and development company - Appoints Hugh Ford as chair designate, effective from Wednesday, September 30. He succeeds Philip Collins as chair with effect from March 26, which is also the start of Wynnstay's next financial year. Says the two will work together in the coming months to ensure an orderly transition and handover. It also plans to add further non-executive directors to the board during this period, as part of its "ongoing succession planning."

"I am delighted with the successful outcome of this competitive process, resulting in Hugh's appointment," Collins comments. "He has made a substantial contribution to Wynnstay as a non-executive director since his appointment to the board in March 2023. His listed PLC background and his experience of the real estate sector, including in financial and treasury functions, have been invaluable in our board discussions. I am confident that he will prove to be a very effective chairman in leading Wynnstay forward through the next stage of its development."
