Yu Group PLC - Nottingham, England-based gas and electricity supplier and smart meter installer - Hires Andy Hughes as chief operating officer and grants Hughes performance-based share options representing 1.0% of equity capital. Hughes is the former chief executive of Water Plus Ltd and director of operations at Severn Trent PLC. The share option grant is in two tranches, with 70,000 options at an exercise price of £15.03, and 100,000 options at £13.60 each, vesting in 2028 and 2029 respectively, subject to performance targets. Notes that total options outstanding represent 11% of equity.

Current share price: 1,617.00 pence, down 1.4% on Monday morning in London
