Bushveld Minerals shares suspended from trading amid funding woes

Bushveld Minerals Ltd shares were suspended from trading on AIM on Monday ‘due to financial uncertainty’.

The South African vanadium producer explained that ‘discussions, with various stakeholders, have not been successful in securing additional funds to address the company’s liquidity position’.

This follows an announcement earlier in November which said Bushveld’s funds ‘were not currently sufficient to sustain its operations or meet its immediate liabilities’.

Bushveld said it is working with a turnaround specialist to assess its recovery prospects and ‘achieve the best outcome for all stakeholders’.

Bushveld shares were last quoted 0.31 pence in London.
