Centaur, Smartzer partner ahead of shoppable video product launch

Centaur Media PLC reported on Wednesday that one of the brands in its portfolio, Influencer Intelligence, formed a strategic partnership with Smartzer Ltd, a shoppable video technology company offering solutions to turn video into direct sales streams.

The two London-based companies expect to introduce a new product enabling influencers to transform their content into interactive and shoppable video landing pages. No date or time window has been announced for the product launch at this stage.

According to the company, the product is designed to be distributed across all major social platforms, ‘enhancing monetisation opportunities and driving measurable engagement’.

Centaur shares closed up 0.4% at 43.97 pence a share on Wednesday afternoon in London.
