Conduit Holdings hires Christian Dunleavy to be CEO from March

Conduit Holdings Ltd on Tuesday said Christian Dunleavy will replace Neil Eckert as chief executive officer starting March 1 next year.

Conduit Holdings, parent company of Bermuda-based reinsurer Conduit Re, were down 2.6% to 436.00 pence on Wednesday morning in London, after closing down 1.5% on Tuesday.

Dunleavy previously was director and group president of Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd and CEO of Aspen Bermuda Ltd. He currently is a non-executive director of Coralisle Group Ltd and HSBC Bank Bermuda Ltd.

Dunleavy will succeed Eckert, who co-founded Conduit in 2020 with Trevor Carvey and was appointed CEO in May 2025. The company did say why Eckert is leaving or what he will do next. Chair Nicholas Shott said he wished Eckert "every success in his next venture".

The company said Eckert "played a central role in Conduit's development, helping to guide the business through a significant period of growth and leadership transition while strengthening its market profile".

Conduit added that trading has continued in line with expectations since the publication of its 2026 interim results.
